Saudi Chemical Company’s sales get a boost by government’s active plans to set up health sector and road projects, which utilize explosives, said Director General Mohamed Al-Badr.

The company’s model relies on seasonal profits, and it sees the lowest sales in the third quarter every year, he added.

The company is active in three sectors; distribution to pharmacies, government tenders and medicine manufacturing, he said, adding that the latter is the biggest contributor to the company’s profit.

Saudi Chemical posted around SAR 86.6 million profit in the second quarter of 2014, compared to SAR 77.2 million in the same period of last year.
