Saudi Arabia's Sahara & Ma'aden Petrochemicals Co. (SAMAPCO) exported today its first shipment of ethylene dichloride and dry caustic soda from its new plant.
The shipment, exported from King Fahad Port at Jubail, included 10,000 tonnes of ethylene dichloride and 5000 tonnes of dry caustic soda.
SAMAPCO’s new plant will produce a total of 300,000 tonnes of ethylene dichloride and 250,000 of dry caustic soda annually.
SAMAPCO is 50-50 owned by Maaden and Sahara Petrochemicals.
