ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE COMMISSIONING START-UP OF THE ACRYLIC ACID PROJECT

Reference to Sahara petrochemicals previous announcement regarding the Acrylic Acid project (SAAC), on the 30th of April 2013 on Tadawul, Sahara Petrochemicals announces that Saudi Acrylic Acid Company an affiliate of Tasnee & Sahara Olyfins Company, has completed the mechanical phase of the Acrylic Acid unit in preparation for the experimental operation start-up on Wednesday 26 July 2013. Any updates regarding this subject will be announced later. It is worth mentioning that Sahara Petrochemicals Company owns 43.16% of Saudi Acrylic Acid Company (SAAC).
