The board of directors of the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) appointed Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar as chief executive of the company, effective October 1.
The board accepted in June the resignation of former CEO Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, who joined Saudi Arabia’s National Airlines (Saudia) as general manager.
Al-Omar was the vice president of the Personal Service Unit at Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and chief executive officer of Viva Bahrain.
