A total of 39 stocks registered strong gains from 10-16% on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) today, April 7, compared to their intraday lows.

Shares of East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (East Pipes) and National Company for Learning and Education (NCLE) were the top gainers, up 16% each compared to their intraday lows.

Tadawul's main index, TASI, kicked off the session with a plunge of more than 400 points to an intraday low of 10,657 points before paring the loss and ending 1.1%, or 114 points higher at 11,194 points. The market saw active trading, with a turnover of about SAR 10.6 billion, the highest since December 2024.

During April 7’s trading, Tadawul shed more than 800 points on the backdrop of a fall in global markets and oil prices following China's response with counter tariffs against the US.
