The project aims for electricity transmission to the company's plant in Radwan - Taif, with a load capacity of 37.5 MVA, as part of the Liquid Fuel Substitution Program, in accordance with the signed agreement, which is valid until Dec. 31, 2025, or until the completion of the project.

The agreement is an extension of the efforts of the energy system and the industrial & mining sectors to achieve the objectives of liquid fuel displacement.

The project will lower electricity generation emissions at the company's facilities without a material financial impact on the company, the statement noted.
