SAL Logistics Services Co. signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC) for joint cooperation aimed at enhancing and developing logistics services in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) and the Industrial Valley.
In a statement on X, the company said the MoU allows SAL to leverage its logistics expertise to improve services for investors in KAEC and the Industrial Valley. It also aims to attract local and international investments, reinforcing the city's position as a premier business destination through advanced logistics solutions.
The MoU is for the development and operation of logistics warehouses to meet customer needs and contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure and services in the KAEC.
Further, it focuses on providing integrated logistics solutions to support business expansion in the city.
Both parties will collaborate to ensure seamless support for investors and companies, maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and innovation in logistics services.
This partnership also reflects a shared vision of building a thriving industrial and logistics ecosystem.
SAL emphasized that the MoU serves as a cooperation framework between the two parties and underscores their commitment to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in economic diversification and positioning the Kingdom as a global logistics hub.
Omar Hariri, CEO of SAL, highlighted the strategic importance of this partnership, noting that SAL is committed to serving one of the Kingdom’s most prominent economic zones.
He added that the collaboration would enhance infrastructure and services in KAEC, attract local and international businesses and investors, and contribute to economic growth and sustainability in the logistics sector.
