Steven Greenway, CEO of flyadeal, revealed that the low-cost carrier aims to expand its fleet to more than 102 aircraft over the next four to five years, compared to 37 aircraft currently, as part of its strategy to bolster the Kingdom’s air transport sector and achieve the goals of Vision 2030.

Speaking to Argaam on the sidelines of the Aerospace Connect Forum in Jeddah, the CEO added that flyadeal is increasing its passenger capacity within the Kingdom at a rate of 15% per year, noting that this growth reflects the growing demand for low-cost aviation and the company's role in connecting domestic and international destinations and attracting more travelers to the Kingdom.

The Saudi market needs an integrated air transport system that includes luxury airlines like Saudi Airlines and low-cost carriers like flyadeal to ensure a variety of travel options that meet the needs of all groups, from businessmen to pilgrims and business travelers, according to the top executive.

He also stated that flyadeal's strategy is based on executing the basics simply and efficiently, with competitive fares, modern and clean aircraft, professional crew, and punctual departures and arrivals, noting that these factors are the "real secret to success" in the low-cost airline industry.

Greenway also pointed out that flyadeal continues to invest in technical innovation and digitization, by developing mobile applications, improving interaction with customers through chatbots, in addition to employing artificial intelligence in booking processes and services. He considered that modern technologies have become a key factor in the future of the aviation industry and enhancing the travel experience for travelers.
