The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) announced today, Feb. 24, the working hours for financial institutions during the holy month of Ramadan, in addition to Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha holidays.
Banks will serve the public during business days from 10 am until 4 pm during Ramadan.
Working hours for banks' foreign exchange (FX) centers and payment companies will be six flexible hours, starting 9:30 am until 5:30 pm.
Meanwhile, Eid Al-Fitr holiday will start by the end of work on March 30, with financial institutions resuming work on April 2.
As for Eid Al-Adha holiday, it will begin by the end of work on June 5, with work recommencing on June 10.
Bank branches, FX centers, payment service providers, and their seasonal branches in air and sea pilgrimage hubs, border crossings, and holy sites in Makkah and Madinah will remain open throughout the Hajj season to serve pilgrims and visitors.
Additionally, banks, FX centers, and payment service providers should keep select branches open across key locations as necessitated during Eid holidays.
