Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha

Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha said that the number of jobs in the communications sector in the Kingdom reached 381,000 by the end of 2024.

 

The Kingdom seeks to be a global hub for bridging the gaps in artificial intelligence (AI), the minister added during a speech at the LEAP 25 conference.

 

“We launched the largest center for AI inference with a capacity of 150 megawatts,” he said.
 

The minister also indicated that the growth rate of the Kingdom’s digital economy reached 13% annually since the launch of Vision 2030.
