Saudi Fisheries Co. (Asmak) signed on Feb. 3 a 12-month non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Arabian Agricultural Services Co. (ARASCO) to explore potential collaboration on fish feed development, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

In October 2021, Saudi Fisheries signed a non-binding MoU with ARASCO with the aim to explore future cooperation regarding the manufacturing and commercial operation of the under-construction aquatic feed factory for seafood at Al-Huraydah in Aseer region, Argaam earlier reported.
The memorandum was extended twice for a period of three months from April 20, 2022, to July 19, 2022, and from July 20, 2022, to October 19, 2022.
The company announced in October 2022 that it would not to proceed with the project.
