Al Kathiri unit signs SAR 35M deal to run concrete mixing plant

Al Kathiri Holding Co.'s subsidiary, Alian Industry Co., signed a SAR 35 million agreement with Shandong Tiejun Electric Power Engineering Co. Ltd. to establish and operate a concrete mixing plant as part of the expansion of the PP12 power plants in Dhurma, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest energy projects with a capacity of 18,000 megawatts.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the contract includes supplying 130,000 cubic meters of high-quality concrete, with a production capacity of up to 120 cubic meters per hour.

The concrete supply period will range from 18 to 24 months, Al Kathiri explained, adding that the financial impact and the timeframe for its reflection will be determined later.

The project is a strategic step toward enhancing Alian Industry’s production capabilities and providing innovative concrete solutions, the company said, noting that there are no related parties to the deal.
