Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan launched, on Jan. 27, the “Madaris” platform, a pioneering national initiative to support private and international schools.

The platform will empower the private education sector to provide innovative solutions for investors, schools, and parents.

During the launch, the minister emphasized that the development of educational platforms in Saudi Arabia has been an ongoing and fruitful journey, beginning with Madrasati, Rawdaty, and now the “Madaris” platform, which further supports investment in the education sector. These platforms have earned widespread praise from international organizations.

According to the ministry, Madaris is a national platform designed to help parents choose the most suitable private schools for their children and facilitate registration. It also aims to empower schools in the private education sector to contribute to improving the quality of education. The platform targets 1.1 million students and over 7,000 schools.

The platform's objectives include enhancing parents' ability to make informed decisions, accelerating the growth of the private education sector, creating an attractive investment environment, and boosting competitiveness among private schools.

The ministry highlighted several key features of the platform, including providing a seamless experience for users, facilitating electronic contract documentation between schools and parents, offering multiple online payment options, providing financial solutions for investors, and automating the school registration process.
