Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) announced that foreigners are allowed to invest in Tadawul-listed companies that own real estate in Makkah and Madinah, starting today, Jan. 27.
So far, Jabal Omar Development, Taiba Investments, Makkah Construction and Development, and Knowledge Economic City (KEC) did not allow foreign investment in their shares.
Following the CMA’s decision, shares of these four developers jumped 10% today, amid active trading compared to previous sessions.
