MIS secures SAR 70M project from Health Ministry

Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) won a SAR 70.06 million project (VAT inclusive) with Ministry of Health for the operation and maintenance of the digital infrastructure of 38 hospitals across Southern and Western Provinces.

 

In a statement to Tadawul today, Jan. 22, MIS said Feb. 24, 2025, is the project's award date. For five years, the company will undertake managing services, operations, maintenance, and repairs for the digital infrastructure of the 38 hospitals, which collectively comprise 2,700 beds, adhering to the highest standards.

The scope of work includes the maintenance and operation of computers, printers, scanners, peripherals, operating software, servers, information network devices, wireless networks, information security and communication systems, computer rooms, data centers, and their associated components.

 

It also covers power generators, primary and secondary power supplies, cameras, recording devices, network cabinets, and related accessories. This is in addition to maintenance of civil, mechanical, and electrical works, as well as air-conditioning systems in computer rooms and data centers.

 

Furthermore, the project includes the supply and installation of operational requirements such as antivirus licenses, firewall licenses for hospitals, and licenses for Unified Threat Management (UTM) devices. MIS will also provide other managed services tailored to the hospitals' needs.

 

The scope of work extends to the installation, transport, upgrades, and support for various components, including network devices, wireless networks, information security devices, servers, storage units, and other related infrastructure.
