Foreign investments in Saudi Arabia stood at SAR 2.79 trillion by the end of Q3 2024, up 19% from Q3 2023, according to data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

*Data was updated according to the new foreign investment calculations methodology recently published by GASTAT.

 

 

Foreign direct investments (FDIs) represented 33%, or SAR 934.5 billion, of the third-quarter total.

 

For the same period, portfolio investments, which include equity, investment funds, and debt bonds, reached SAR 1.11 trillion. Other investments amounted to SAR 743.6 billion.
