TADCO shareholders reject amending bylaws

Tabuk Agricultural Development Co.’s (TADCO) shareholders refused approval for all items on the agenda of the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Dec. 30.

 

Shareholders rejected amending bylaws in accordance with the new companies’ bylaws and rearranging and numbering the articles to comply with the proposed amendments, TADCO said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The company said that shareholders refused amending Article 18 of the company’s bylaws, regarding the powers of the board and Article 20 regarding the chairman of the board, his deputy, the secretary, and the CEO.

 

Meanwhile, they rejected adding Article 23 to the company’s bylaws regarding the appointment of the managing director or CEO and secretary and their powers and refrained from amending Article 30 regarding voting and its method in assemblies.
