ACWA Power Co. announced its successful entry into the Chinese market by securing over 1 gigawatt (GW) of renewable energy projects in collaboration with leading Chinese renewable partners.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that this portfolio consists of multiple solar PV and wind projects and will be owned partially/fully by ACWA Power and other partners in multiple provinces in China.

The company is in the advanced stages of completing these investments, the statement said.

 

This milestone marks ACWA Power’s formal entry into the energy market in China, laying a solid foundation and establishing a strong reputation for future expansion.
