The project will be financed through Shariah-compliant banking facilities, available cash liquidity, and other financing programs. It is expected to impact the company’s financial results for 2026, with the financial effects anticipated to be reflected in the fourth quarter of that year, the statement added.
The trial production of the project is projected to begin in Q4 2026, with the pilot phase lasting approximately one month.
Modern Mills confirmed that no contract was signed to date with a contractor for the execution of the project, and any significant developments related to the project will be announced in due course.
This project aligns with the company’s strategy to diversify its product offerings and achieve leadership and innovation in the animal feed industry while addressing the growing demand in the western region, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 for food security.
According to data available with Argaam, Modern Mills currently manages its operations through three mills in the Southern, Northern, And Western Regions of the Kingdom (focusing on Makkah and Madinah). The combined daily production capacity is 3,451 tons for flour milling and 1,400 tons for animal feed.
