Loans by Saudi bank granted to non-financial government institutions and the private sector rose 13% to SAR 2.98 trillion in October 2024, compared to nearly SAR 2.64 trillion in October 2023, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

The following table shows Saudi bank loans granted to non-financial government institutions and the private sector:

Private sector lending also increased 12% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.80 trillion in the same month.

Meanwhile, loans granted to non-financial government institutions jumped 23% YoY to about SAR 179.8 billion by the end of October.
