The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) announced the operating dates of the six Riyadh Metro tracks, which King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud launched earlier today.
The six tracks of the Riyadh Metro will be operated sequentially, starting with the operation of these three tracks: Track No. 1: Blue (Al-Olaya Street - Al-Bathaa Axis), Track No. 4: Yellow (King Khalid International Airport Road Axis), and Track No. 6: Purple (Abdulrahman bin Auf Road axis - Sheikh Hassan bin Hussein Road), on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024.
Meanwhile, Track No. 2: Red (King Abdullah Road), and Track No. 5: Green (King Abdulaziz Road), will be operated on Dec. 15, 2024.
Finally, Track No. 3: Orange (Madinah Road axis) will be operated on Jan. 5, 2025.
This completes all six tracks of the Riyadh Metro network, with a total length of 176 kilometers, and all the network stations, amounting to 85 stations, including four main stations.
The Commission indicated that destinations for Metro trips and purchase of tickets will be available through the “Darb” app.
