Al Arabia wins bid for Saudi Arabia’s intercity advertising

Arabian Contracting Co. (Al Arabia) said it won, on Nov. 21, a 10-year contract from the General Authority for Roads for advertising on intercity roads in the Kingdom.

 

No specific amount is specified for the project as it operates under a revenue-sharing model, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

The company will manage 274 advertising assets, including 165 unipoles, six hoardings, and 68 bridges in the first year, as well as 35 unipoles in the sixth year.

 

The contract covers a network of major highways, including Riyadh-Dammam, Dammam Airport, Dammam-Salwa, Riyadh-Qassim, Buraidah-Bukayriyah, and roads to Al Kharj, Al Delam, Jeddah, and Makkah-Madinah.
 

The contract aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of outdoor advertising on roads between cities in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the initiative aims to enhance communication between brands and consumers by offering unique and visually appealing advertising spaces that elevate the urban landscape's aesthetics.

 

The contract aligns with Al Arabia's strategy to expand its advertising portfolio and leverage advanced technologies to improve efficiency and customer experience. The company aims to contribute to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and National Transformation Program by elevating the outdoor advertising landscape and enhancing the overall travel experience.

 

There are no related parties to the deal, the statement said, noting more details will be disclosed upon signing of the contract.
