Chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) Mohammed ElKuwaiz encouraged young people looking to enter the financial market to start early, highlighting that getting an early start provides the opportunity to learn from mistakes that may be more difficult to overcome later in life.

Speaking at the Misk Global Forum 2024, ElKuwaiz stressed the importance of starting with small, diversified investments and acquiring knowledge, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

As confidence and knowledge grow, so does the ability to manage risks, as both are closely linked to effective risk management, he noted.

The Chairman also highlighted the vital role of the financial market in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which focuses on economic diversification. This includes the development of new sectors, cities, and investments.

The financial market plays a crucial role in channeling the savings of young men and women in Saudi Arabia and globally into projects and innovative ideas, ElKuwaiz added.
