MSCI adds 4 Saudi stocks, excludes 2 others in periodic review

MSCI Inc, the provider of research-based indexes and analytics, announced the results of its periodic review, adding four stocks, namely Miahona Co., Rasan Information Technology Co., Riyadh Cement Co. and Saudi Manpower Solutions Co. (SMASCO), to the MSCI Saudi Arabia Small Cap Index.

 

Meanwhile, the index excluded two stocks - SHL Finance Co. and Najran Cement Co. - from the small cap index.

 

Accordingly, the total number of constituents on the small cap index stood at 86, while the number of the companies included in the MSCI Global Standard Index reached 42.

 

MSCI will implement the changes by the close of trading on Nov. 25, 2024.
