The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture reiterated its warning against the sale of plots prepared on agricultural lands without its approval or the approval of the retail plans by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing.

This came after the Ministry noticed continued existence of advertisements from some companies, real estate offices and individuals about selling plots prepared on agricultural lands without its approval.

In a statement today, the Ministry stressed that this step violates the approved controls according to the Cabinet decision, as well as the controls and mechanism prepared in coordination between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing.

The Ministry also called upon companies, real estate offices and individuals to refrain from selling any plots on agricultural land without its approval.
