Saudi Chemical’s AJA Pharma signs non-binding MoU with Aldawaa

Saudi Chemical Holding Co.’s (SCCH) pharmaceutical arm, AJA Pharmaceutical Industries Co., has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aldawaa Medical Services Co. (DMSCO) for the local manufacturing of some vital essential medicines necessitated by the Saudi market.

 

Under the MoU, both parties will jointly work towards long-term investment in transferring technology for such medicines, which are not being produced locally at present, Saudi Chemical said in a statement to Tadawul today, Oct. 21.

This is to enhance the Kingdom’s self-sufficiency in this vital sector and ensure the continuous availability of these medicines.

 

The company also said that the MoU, running for six months and entailing no related parties, was signed on the sidelines of the 2024 Global Health Exhibition in Riyadh.
