Saudi Arabia has injected nearly SAR 200 billion in the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS) since its launch in mid-2021, said Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser.

In his opening speech at the Global Logistics Forum in Riyadh, the minister said that these investments have driven significant progress in the transport and logistics sectors, positioning the Kingdom as a global leader in several indices.

The strategic cooperation between public and private sectors has played a key role in achieving these accomplishments, Al-Jasser added.

Emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s sustainability efforts, the minister said that the Kingdom replaced one million trucks with an expanded railway network last year, significantly lowering emissions.
