Red Sea Global (RSG) signed a strategic agreement with Marriott International to open Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA. The resort, situated in the northernmost part of Triple Bay, is slated to open in 2025, the company revealed in a statement.

 

Approximately 80% of the guest rooms offer stunning waterfront views. The hotel will boast 391 rooms, providing breathtaking vistas of the sea, marina village, and mountain slopes.

Luxury amenities planned for the resort include state-of-the-art fitness centers, recreational facilities, a spa, an adult pool, a family pool, a rock pool, a contemporary ballroom, and extensive event spaces capable of accommodating up to 1,500 guests.

 

The statement highlighted that the projects mark the fourth collaboration between the two entities. Recent joint ventures include the opening of the St. Regis Red Sea and Ritz-Carlton Reserve, along with the signing of an agreement to open The Red Sea EDITION.

 

Development of the first phase of the Abama project, focusing on the masterplan for Triple Bay, is progressing rapidly, with the first guests expected to arrive in 2025, RSG added.

 

Upon completion, the project will feature over 4,000 hotel rooms across 30 hotels, as well as approximately 1,200 residential units, luxury apartments, and villas.
