Nahdi Medical Co.’s CEO Yasser Joharji said that “Made in Saudi Arabia” products will be available in more than 1,100 pharmacies affiliated with the company in the Kingdom and electronic platforms.
In addition, the company plans to expand its presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other international markets in the future.
In a statement to Argaam, on the sidelines of signing an agreement with the Saudi Export Development Authority, Johari pointed out that these products include some of Nahdi’s investments, own brands, partnerships with local factories and other locally manufactured products available in its pharmacies.
The diversity of local products will positively impact sales, manufacturing volume and expansion opportunities, the CEO added.
He noted the growing consumer demand for local products and increasing preference for the “Made in Saudi Arabia” label, which benefits local factories by supporting their growth and providing new opportunities for employment, manufacturing, and development.
He stated that the strategic partnership aims to support the growth of local health products and localize pharmaceutical industries and medical supplies.
Additionally, the collaboration contributes to enhancing Nahdi’s position and facilitating its expansion within and beyond the Kingdom in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
According to data available on Argaam, the Saudi Export Development Authority, represented by the Made in Saudi Arabia Program, signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nahdi, to support local products and enhance their presence in the company's branches.
