Former US President and Republican nominee Donald Trump's campaign said he was safe after gunshots were heard near his residence in Florida.

 

Trump was playing golf at his private golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida, sources told NBC News.

As a precaution, Trump was moved to a secure location, according to the network's sources.

 

In their initial investigations, the police did not find any evidence that Trump was targeted by the shooting.
