Oil drilling rigs
The international rig count decreased by 53 units year-on-year (YoY) in August, but rose by 22 units month-month (MoM), bringing the total count to 1,735, data of energy services firm Baker Hughes showed.
Oil rigs in the Middle East decreased by eight MoM and but grew YoY, reaching a total of 337.
The international rig count, except for the US and Canada, fell by three units MoM to 931 in August.
