Remittances by expatriates in Saudi Arabia rose by 21% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 12.9 billion in July 2024, according to recent data released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA)

 

Compared to June 2024, remittances increased by 7%, or about SAR 849 million, in July.

 

Expat remittances in July are the highest in two years after reaching SAR 13.2 billion in June 2022.
