Al Sagr: Major shareholder seeks to dismiss 2 board members

Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co. received a letter from a major shareholder, owning more than a 10% stake, requesting convening a general assembly to vote on dismissing two board members.

The two board members are Chairman Saud Al Arifi (independent) and Yasser Alharbi (non-independent), according to a Tadawul filing today, Sept. 5. 


Accordingly, the company will take the necessary legal procedures related to this request. Any developments in this regard will be announced in due course, the statement added.
