The signing ceremony
The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) signed today, Sept. 4, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Insurance Authority (IA) to cooperate in providing insurance products and services.
In addition, the MoU aims to develop related electronic and digital transactions, exchange expertise, and enhance business development between the two parties.
In a statement, the IA said the MoU was signed on the sidelines of the 24 Fintech 2024 Conference.
The MoU aims to formalize collaboration between GOSI and the IA by defining roles related to the exchange of expertise, conducting workshops to benefit from successful projects and experiences. In addition, the move is to develop mechanisms to enhance insurance operations and support joint ventures between the two parties.
Both parties will explore opportunities for integration in providing insurance products and services, developing related electronic and digital services. They will also collaborate in preparing awareness campaigns, conferences, seminars, workshops, and scientific forums related to insurance.
