QFIs net buyers of SAR 2.26M stocks on Tadawul in August

Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) were net buyers of SAR 2.26 billion worth of shares on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in August, according to data issued by Tadawul.

 

Total purchases by QFIs rose by 33% month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 40.8 billion in August. Their sales also gained 21% MoM to about SAR 38.55 billion.

 

MSCI Inc., provider of research-based indexes and analytics, implemented last month the changes to Saudi constituents in the quarterly review of its indices.

 

High-net-worth investors and professional individual investors were net sellers of shares worth nearly SAR 1.67 billion and SAR 1.02 billion, respectively.
