Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued today, Sept. 2, two royal orders on reshuffling the Shura Council and the Council of Senior Ulema.
The Council of Senior Ulema will be chaired by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia.
It will comprise Saleh bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulrahman Al-Turki, Sheikh Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Manea, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim bin Abdulaziz Al-Issa, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Mutlaq, Sheikh Dr. Saad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Shathri, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Kulliyah, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah bin Mubarak Al-Mu’jib, and Sheikh Muhammad bin Hassan Al Al-Sheikh.
Other members are Sheikh Dr. Yusuf bin Muhammad Saeed, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Mazid, Sheikh Dr. Jibril bin Muhammad bin Hassan Al-Bassayli, Sheikh Dr. Abdulsalam bin Abdullah Al-Sulayman, Sheikh Dr. Ghalib bin Muhammad Hamidha, Sheikh Dr. Sami bin Muhammad Al-Soqeer, Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz bin Siraj Baleela, Sheikh Abdulbaqi bin Muhammad Mubarak, and Sheikh Dr. Abdulilah bin Muhammad bin Ahmed Al-Mulla.
On the other hand, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh was named as Speaker for the Shura Council for the four-year term starting Rabi Alawwal 3, 1446. Mishaal Al-Salmi was named as Deputy Speaker of Shura Council, with Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi as Assistant Speaker.
The advisory council comprises other 33 members.
