The US trade deficit in goods decreased in June on surge of exports.
The goods trade deficit contracted by $2.5 billion, or 2.5%, to $96.8 billion, the Commerce Department's Census Bureau said on Wednesday.
The data showed that US merchandise exports increased by $4.3 billion on a monthly basis to $172.3 billion, while imports rose by $1.7 billion to $269.2 billion during the same period.
