The bond and debt instruments market represents a crucial financing avenue provided by the capital market for funding projects across both public and private sectors, Mohammed El-Kuwaiz, Chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA), said on X platform.
 

The proposed amendments are aimed at fulfilling the requirements of financing entities by diversifying their funding sources, thereby playing a pivotal role in fostering the development of the national economy, he added. 

 

El-Kuwaiz invited all interested parties and investors to participate in providing their feedback, as a step towards adopting the final version of the amendments. 

 

According to data available on Argaam, on July 10, the CMA on relevant and interested persons participating in the capital market to share their feedback on the Proposed Regulatory Enhancements for the Offering of Debt Instruments (Draft) for public Consultation for 30 days ending Aug. 8.
