Saudi Mining Services (ESNAD), the executive and operational arm of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, launched its new strategy extending through 2026.
The strategy aims to spearhead the transformation in the mining sector by enhancing the investment environment, as well as promoting sustainable and optimal use of mineral resources.
In a statement received by Argaam, ESNAD highlighted its goals to implement cutting-edge digital solutions, improve investor relations, bolster compliance, and ensure sustainability to meet investor requirements and optimize land usage for mining purposes.
The strategy concentrates on critical sectors within the company, striving to deliver high-quality solutions that facilitate investment in the mining sector. This includes digitalizing investor services, refining licensing procedures, and ensuring both financial and environmental compliance. Furthermore, the strategy aims to attract and develop talent dedicated to serving the mining industry.
Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, the strategy seeks to elevate the mining sector as the nation's third industrial pillar after oil and petrochemicals. This entails digitally transforming the sector, fortifying investor relations, and addressing their needs to stimulate sectoral investment and augment investor engagement through efficient and streamlined processes.
According to information available on Argaam, the Council of Ministers approved the establishment of a state-owned joint-stock company for mining services in April 2020.
