Academy of Learning changes fiscal year, transition plan

Shareholders of Academy of Learning (AOL) approved changing the company’s fiscal year to end in June every year instead of December during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

The company will issue audited financial statements for the six-month period, which begins on Jan. 1, 2024, and ends on June 30, 2024, within the statutory period for publication, which ends on Sept. 1, 2024.

Audited financial statements for the second-half period, which begins on July 1, 2024, will also be issued within the statutory period for publication.

AOL will disclose audited financial statements for a long fiscal year (18 months), from Jan. 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, within the statutory deadline for publication, which ends on Sept. 30, 2025.

Starting from H2 2025—ending on Dec. 31, 2025—which represents the first half of the new fiscal year, AOL will issue all interim financial statements normally and within the statutory deadlines applicable to companies whose fiscal year ends on June 30.
