Academy of Learning plans SAR 10M education subsidiary

Academy of Learning Co.’s board of directors approved establishing a company specializing in private and foreign education with a capital of SAR 10 million.

The company plans to invest in the private education sector in the Kingdom due to its promising opportunities, according to a statement on Tadawul.

This plan aligns with the company’s strategic vision, which seeks to grow business and diversify revenues, the statement added.

The new subsidiary will be active in establishing, operating, and acquisition of schools in private and foreign education.

The step is built on Academy of Learning’s distinguished educational and successful training experiences over the past 20 years, the company said, noting that establishing the schools will be through its resources as well as external funding.

Any related updates will be announced in a timely manner, the Saudi-listed firm stated.
