Edarat signs SAR 3.5M contract to provide cloud computing services

Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co. signed on May 15 a contract worth SAR 3.54 million, including VAT, with Ejada Systems Ltd. to provide cloud computing services for a Saudi government entity.

 

Spanning a one-year term, the contract aims to provide cloud hosting services for Ejada to implement a geographic information system (GIS) application for a Saudi government entity, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Edarat will provide the infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and backup as a service (BaaS) through Edarat Sovereign Private Cloud for Business platform.

 

This contract is set to yield a positive financial impact on its financial statements during the second quarter of 2024, the company noted.

 

There are no related parties to the deal, it added.
