Jabal Omar’s CEO resigns, Saad Ben Aiban named Acting CEO

Jabal Omar Development Co.’s board of directors approved on May 7 Khalid Al-Amoudi's resignation as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective May 30, 2024, to pursue his career.

 

The company’s board of directors appointed Saad Ben Aiban as Acting CEO effective May 31, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

Ben Aiban has served as Chief Projects Management Officer at Jabal Omar since 2021 and has more than 38 years of experience in the field of megaproject management.

 

He also worked as Vice President of Projects at Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden) and Corporate Procurement and Contracts Manager for mega projects at Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC). Ben Aiban also held several positions in Petrocon with Saudi Aramco.
