Aramco shareholders to elect board members for new term on May 6

Shareholders of Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) will vote on electing board members in an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) set for May 6, for the upcoming three-year term.

 

The new term will start on July 1, 2024, and end on June 30, 2027, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

Other agenda items include voting on amendments to various articles of the company's bylaws, such as appointing alternate board members, determining board member bonuses, specifying board proceedings, issuing invitations for the general assembly, defining the assembly agenda, presenting financial statements and reports, outlining board member responsibilities, and clarifying shareholder rights to legal action against the company or board.
