As many as 32,340 families benefited from the Sakani program in Q1 2024, an increase of more than 15% from 27,990 families in Q1 2023. A total of 25,390 Saudi families moved into their first homes during the first three months of this year, the housing program announced.

Sakani added that 9,380 Saudi families moved to their first homes in March, bringing the total number of beneficiaries of the optional support packages to 12,180 during the same month.

Sakani provides Saudis with several housing packages to help them own their first home through non-refundable financial support at SAR 100,000-150,000, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and other financing bodies.

Over 100,000 Saudi families benefited from the program in 2023, during which 98,500 Saudi households moved to their first homes, aligning with the Kingdom’s efforts to boost home ownership to 70% by 2030, according to data available with Argaam.
