East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry canceled a contract worth SAR 153 million earlier signed with Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) at the latter’s request, according to a statement to Tadawul today, March 21.

The company agreed to terminate and scrap the contract as this will result in no financial impact on its performance given that it was not factored in its production schedule for the current fiscal year.

Moreover, according to East Pipes’ plans, the procurement of raw materials entailed under the supply contract was not carried out. The cancellation does not affect the company’s operating plans during the period that had been scheduled for implementation, the statement added.

East Pipes signed, on Nov. 30, 2023, a supply contract valued at more than SAR 153 million (VAT inclusive) with Aramco, according to Argaam's data.
