Sipchem completes maintenance of Al Waha plant, resumes operations

Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) announced today, March 6, the completion of scheduled periodic turnaround maintenance of the plant of its affiliate, Al Waha Petrochemical Co. and the commencement of the factory's operation, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The scheduled shutdown enabled the completion of maintenance, enhancing the factory's efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction, aligning with future operational plans.

 

The financial impact of the shutdown will be reflected in Q1 2024 results, the statement said, adding that all necessary precautions have been taken to mitigate any potential impact on its customers.

 

In February, Sipchem announced the scheduled periodic turnaround maintenance of Al Waha, according to data available with Argaam.
