Saudi Arabia's local content in government procurement hit 43%, said Abdulrahman Al Samari, CEO of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA).

 

During the Public Investment Fund (PIF) Forum held today, Feb. 8, Al Samari underscored the importance of local content as a cornerstone of Vision 2030.

 

The CEO emphasized the role of local content in driving economic diversification, job creation, and resilient supply chains, highlighting the importance of building local capabilities to support its growth.

 

Al Samari further mentioned collaborations among major national companies to achieve Vision 2030 goals and serve the local economy. He also pointed to the activation of signed agreements to support businesses operating within the Kingdom.
