SAUDIA has a strategy to provide more than 10,000 specialized quality jobs in the aviation sector over the coming years, said Abdullah AlShahrani, General Manager of Communication and Media Affairs and Spokesperson for the airline.

The jobs include pilots, cabin navigators, and maintenance technicians, in addition to specialists in the shipping and logistics sector, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing AlShahrani.

He indicated that the group completed the localization of co-pilot position, while the pilot position will be completely localized according to its strategy.

The airline is constantly receiving new aircraft and has relevant deals, some of which were announced recently, while another major deal will be announced soon, AlShahrani said.

The group's plans aim to help achieve the great goal of Saudi Vision 2030, which requires large numbers of aircraft and flights, and they in turn need large numbers of national cadres.
