Opportunity exists to localize jobs in transport sector: Official

Assistant Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Ahmed Al-Hassan believes there is an opportunity to localize jobs in the sector.

 

The transportation and logistics system has an initiative to localize 10,000 jobs, as well as 3,000 in the passenger transportation sector and 10,000 in the air transport sector, Al-Hassan revealed, noting that target is to localize 28 different professions.

 

Al-Hassan made these remarks while participating in the main roundtable of the third Qassim Youth Empowerment Forum, which is held under the theme “My Chance 3” as part of the authorities’ efforts to empower youth in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
